HTTPS / SSL still not set for my domain, even after few hours
Hello,
I set my domain scgupta.me a few hours back, but "Https (SSL)" status is still "SSL Certificate not active yet."
If I understood correctly, all domains in all plans, a FREE SSL certificate offered by Let's Encrypt authority is set automatically.
Do I need to do something? Can you please help setting SSL so that I can create and share https links?
Thanks.
Hi Satish,
Yes, Rebrandly relies on the Let's Encrypt authority to emit SSL certificates for your domain.
This procedure requires some time, this is mostly due to the fact that when you update DNS records they are not immediately visible everywhere in the world, and so they cannot verify the domain is pointing to Rebrandly, in practice. We keep trying over and over until a resolution takes place (or we dig for problems with the specific domain's configuration).
Anyway, we just managed to force-request again a certificate for your domain, and the request went through, you should now be able to navigate with https as well: https://scgupta.me.
Please reach out support@rebrandly.com to get the best answers in the shortest possible time.
